What You Can Expect When Working With Me
The word ‘together’ is one of my favourites. When you come to see me, you’re not alone in your struggle; we’re in it together. Unlike some therapies in which the therapist acts as a ‘blank slate,’ I will actively show up beside you as the gentle, curious, and occasionally silly person that I am. I will use my therapeutic skills and training to help melt defenses so that you can relax into your core emotions and deepen your sense of self. You don’t have to do this alone; that’s the power of together.
As an experiential therapist, you can expect me to help you slow right down, uncover and stay with what wants to emerge, and then facilitate healing experiences by gently yet powerfully guiding you toward and through the emotion. Together, we will build your capacity to sit with and release the hard stuff, and savour the good.
Our work will move you away from the ‘same old, same old’ of daily life and into new, sometimes challenging, sometimes painful, and yet profoundly healing territory. Most importantly, you’re not alone in this. We’ll do it together.

What I Offer
- A Safe, Supportive Space: I offer space where you can show up as your true, authentic self. No need to hide. I’ll be with you in every moment, meeting you in what is emerging.
- Trauma-Informed & Body-Centered Approaches: I offer space to explore experiences that have become locked away in your body, perhaps out of your consciousness. We’ll use the gentle power of attunement to help you release what’s become stuck so you feel more like your authentic self.
- Creative, Emotion-Focused Methods: Our work together won’t just be about talking. I’ll give you space to tap into your emotions and body sensations; and I’ll help you use the power of your imagination to heal old wounds in ways that are real and deeply transformative.
- Healing Relationships: I offer space to explore how past relationships impact your present. I want you and all your hurting parts to encounter the loving care we have to offer so that your whole being can begin to feel held and delighted in. With time and intention, this will heal your relationship to yourself, to your emotions, and perhaps even your relationships with others.
- Compassion and Humor: Healing doesn’t have to be heavy and serious all the time. In the big emotions, I offer lightness and compassion, helping you feel at ease while doing deep emotional work!

Areas of Expertise
Working in Downtown Kelowna and online throughout BC, I help adult (20+) individuals just like you heal from trauma, navigate difficult emotions, and transform their relationships.
Here are some of areas of expertise:
- Healing from Trauma & C-PTSD: I can help you heal from deep emotional wounds like childhood trauma, neglect, or experiences of sexual assault, helping you reclaim your sense of peace and safety.
- Family & Cultural Dynamics: I can help you explore family patterns and cultural dynamics that may be affecting your sense of self-worth, relationships, and emotional health. Together, we can heal these wounds and create a new sense of empowerment.
- Anxiety & Depression: I can help you look at experiences that created conditions for anxiety and depression to take root, then give you the space you need to allow underlying feelings to emerge and resolve so that anxiety and depression can settle.
- Relationship Patterns: I can help you explore unhealthy or unwanted relationship patterns so that you can communicate in ways that feel authentic to you and foster deeper, more meaningful connections.
- Self-Worth & Identity: I can help you discover your true worth and create a more confident, empowered sense of self. Together, we can work to transform negative beliefs into self-compassion and acceptance.
- Emotion Dysregulation: I can help you move into and through your big, overwhelming emotions or your shut down, inaccessible emotions so that your daily life is more balanced and you feel more like yourself.
- Healing from Sexual Assault: Recovering from sexual assault takes time and courage. I can offer you a safe, supportive space to heal trauma and restore a sense of agency, trust, and safety in your life.
Regardless of what brings you here, we’ll explore not just the surface issues, but the deeper emotional roots of your struggles. My goal is to help you settle your nervous system, move through core emotions, and reconnect with your true self so that you can build meaningful connections with yourself and others.

Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. healing is an act of communion.
